"War, What is it Good For?

Absolutely Nothin'. Say it again..." - Edwin Starr

If you are fighting in a War, you are really only fighting within your own Being.
This is because, in reality, all of Humanity is only One Spirit.
Therefore, to war is a fight you can never win. It is with yourself.
It doesn't matter what your religion is, your country, or your cause.

To war is to lose. For, by participating in war, you have already lost ground in the greater quest.
The quest for the fulfillment of Human Divine Desitiny.
The realization of Human Divine Origin. The actual purpose of Life.

There is no "Holy War". It is an antithesis.
There is no "Just War". It is a contradiction in terms.

"But, one must protect oneself, one's family, one's home, and one's country" you might respond.

And I would then say; "To protect yourself from harm is not war, it is wisdom.
To protect others from harm is not war, it is Valor.
Be strong. Be honorable. But most of all, be ever conscious of the highest and greatest good.
Be conscious of the path you are travelling in this life." "

Then where does one find the line between war and wisdom?"

"You have crossed that line, when you have lowered yourself to the level of the agressor, the instigator.
To act from Valor is to act with a pure heart. To heal. To uplift."

"There is a transcendental alternative to war. A higher path. An enlightened path.
A Divine solution. Yet, conflict does offers the opportunity for transcendance.
The opportunity to find that higher path. To act on it. To live it.
Therefore, go through any conflict only to reach for that higher path."

"In such a way conflict can be considered a gift. For in response to conflict,
when we have found that Higher Way, That Divine Solution, and we have acted upon it,
we have then taken another step on the Evolutionary Path of the Human Spirit.
The Pathway toward Divine Destiny, The realization of Divine Origin."

As a people, we must choose our leaders based upon their ability
to walk this Higher Path and lead the Way. The path of Wisdom, Strength, and Valor.
Not the path of war, anger, avarice, judgement, intolerance and aggression.

"There is nothing Divine in war. Yet, Humanity is a Divine Design.
Thus, war itself is by it's nature sub-human."

"Why go there? What is it good for?"
What can be done?
Pray with an open heart and pure mind to the One God that we all on this planet share.
Pray for peace in Iraq. Peace in Afganistan, Peace in Lebanon, and World Peace NOW.
World Peace is not only possible. It is how it is meant to be
here on God's beautiful Earth.
